Refund Policy.

How cancellation, billing, and your data work if you ever decide to stop using Keystone IQ. Last updated July 2026.

Cancel anytime — no partial refunds

Keystone IQ subscriptions don't offer refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. But you're never locked in — you can cancel anytime, you'll never be charged again, and you keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for.

During your free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and doesn't require a credit card, so you're never charged a cent until you actively choose to subscribe. If you decide Keystone IQ isn't for you during the trial, simply don't subscribe — there's nothing to refund because nothing was ever charged.

How to cancel

Cancelling is self-serve — no need to call or email anyone. From inside the app, go to Settings → Billing and choose Cancel. Your subscription stays active through the end of your current paid period, and you won't be billed again after that.

If you'd rather have a person walk you through it, support is always available at support@keystoneiq.app.

What happens to your data after you cancel

Cancelling doesn't delete anything right away. We retain your account and data for a 30-day grace period so you can reactivate without losing anything, after which it is permanently deleted.

Permanent deletion removes your data across all of our systems, including transactions, properties, tenants, documents in the Document Vault, and any connected bank or mortgage accounts. Your subscription is cancelled and the contact details held by our payment processor are scrubbed; only invoices and payment records that tax and accounting rules require us to keep are retained. For the full picture of data retention and deletion, see our Privacy Policy.

Billed in error?

If you were charged in error, or believe there's a mistake with your bill, email support@keystoneiq.app with the details and we'll work with you to sort it out. Every situation is a little different, so we look into billing questions case-by-case rather than promising a one-size-fits-all outcome.

Our Terms of Service state: "Keystone IQ is an analytical tool. It does not provide formal tax, legal, or financial advice."
